A leading media conglomerate announced the appointment of a new executive vice president of HR today

A leading internet and media conglomerate announced today that a new face would be joining the senior team as executive vice president of human resources.

Industry veteran Michelle Dvorkin will be taking the reins at XO Group, a multi-platform media company which manages major brands such as the Knot, the Bump, and the Nest.

“We are so pleased to welcome Michelle Dvorkin to the executive management team at XO Group,” said Mike Steib, CEO of XO Group.

“She has a proven track record to attract, develop, and retain the very best talent and this will be a great asset as we continue to grow our marketplace connecting users to the services they need,” he added.

Northern California-born Dvorkin brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources and boasts a broad range of expertise, having worked in start-ups and SMEs to large companies and major corporations, such as AOL, Ogilvy, Primedia and AppNexus.
